FLESH
Poised and regal in appearance, Lyterette carries herself with all the grace of her noble title. She is not considered tall by any means, but stands at an average height for a woman of the Breton breed. She is slender in build, and has been described as "willowy" by some. Her skin is fair, but it is not free of blemishes. She has faint freckles across her cheeks, and there are a few faint, yet visible, scars on her throat. These scars are thin and less than an inch in length, and appear to have been created by the sharp side of a blade. The largest -- and most noticeable -- mark on her skin is actually across her shoulders and down the length of her back in the form of a tattoo depicting a golden bird. She rarely shows off this tattoo, of course, and keeps it hidden under her robes and dresses most of the time. Her long, ember-red hair falls in delicate ringlets around her slim shoulders, but she often has it drawn up in a fancy style such as pearl-tied braids, or at the very least, out of her face. Occasionally, she will have it pulled into a somewhat messy bun when she's outside working. She prefers plain, simple clothing, wearing clerical garb most of the time. Her robes are often white, ivory, or, occasionally, gray. She rarely wears pants or even dresses. She sometimes has a blindfold over her eyes, as she is blind, hiding her milky-blue irises, but she only does this when in public. She carries a staff with her, both to aid her in getting around but also for protection. It is made of mahogany, and carved with elaborate shapes of moths along the whole of its length. Moths tend to be drawn to her, and usually at least one can be seen resting on her shoulders.
BONE
Lyterette is a compassionate woman, with a desire to serve and love all she meets. She’s hard pressed to hate, but that’s not to say she’s immune to anger or frustration, especially toward rude or otherwise unsavory persons. She’s a personable sort, and enjoys being around others, especially when they’ve come to worship in her abbey. Her favorite thing in the world is to perform marriages, which she oversees with diligence and joy. The unification of couples brings her immense fulfillment, and she never turns down an opportunity to officiate when asked.

HISTORY
Raised in Leyawiin, Cyrodiil, Lyterette is the daughter of Raevalt, an Imperial noble and military officer, and a Breton merchant mother, Eravyn. She lived a rather privileged life, wanting sparingly for anything. She was born a twin to a brother, Lance, and the pair were soon found to both be blind. With her mother's successful business and her father's high-standing career and noble titles, her family was able to live quite comfortably, and her youngest years were filled with bliss and joyous memories. At the age of seven, however, her mother fell ill of fever and died, leaving her in her father's care. As a man busy with military obligations and a home and children to provide for on his own, Raevalt called upon a governess, Tamia, to watch over Lyterette and Lance when he could not be home.Continuing to blossom even in the absence of her mother, Lyterette attended private lessons for her education and took a particular affinity toward religious teachings. She gravitated further toward the Divines as she grew older, and by the age of twelve, she knew she wanted to be a servant of Mara. She felt particularly destined to do so as she watched her father fall in love with her governess and remarry when she turned fifteen.A year later, she journeyed across Cyrodiil to Bravil, where she began her religious training in the Temple of Mara. She worked hard, devoted her time and her soul to her patron Divine, and, by the time she was twenty-three, had earned her priestess title. She was not content to remain in Bravil, however, and set her sights on returning home to Leyawiin to build her own Benevolence of Mara, and she and her brother set off to start traveling home.Unfortunately, neither she nor Lance would arrive. They were captured by vampires and held prisoner for years, suffering horrible experiments and torture. She was forced to watch her brother become a vampire before her very eyes, unable to help him, and it was by the grace of Mara that she never became a vampire herself. She was able to escape when a fellow prisoner, Anteas Shorn, escaped his own cell and got her out, where her brother, Lance, was waiting from his earlier successful escape. The twins and Anteas escaped to Skyrim, where they built a cottage where Letty could help her brother adjust to being a vampire and Anteas could plan his revenge on the vampires that had held them all prisoner. When she believed her brother capable of behaving without her, Lyterette eventually left their cottage to continue her work for Mara. She traveled to Farholme and served among the Iron Riders for a year. After leaving Farholme, Letty moved back in with her brother in their Jerall Mountains cottage.
HOOKS
LIBRARIAN - Despite being blind, Lyterette has a deep love and respect for the written word. She has a vast library in her abbey, which she meticulously keeps. She is able to “read” the pages by way of revelation spells on occasion but relies on her scribes to transcribe or recite on her behalf when necessary. She has been described as "possessive" of the books she has in her care and has been known to get rather upset when proper respect toward said tomes is not given. She insists on reverence in her library and isn't afraid to ensure people follow the rules.

HEALER - Lyterette is a skilled healer, having spent much of her time learning the arts of restoration while living in the Temple of Mara. She has an intense desire to mend both heart and soul, and never turns away an opportunity to do either when she finds someone in need or pain.

GREEN THUMB - One of Lyterette’s most favorite hobbies is that of gardening. She loves to get her hands in the dirt, creating beauty and life in the form of greenery. Her favorite flower is honeysuckle, as it gives off a strong, yet sweet fragrance that fills her private gardens. It’s not unusual to see her with smudges of dirt on her hands, cheeks, or robes from working outdoors.

CATS - Lyterette’s love for life extends to animals as well, but her favorite are most certainly cats. She keeps many around her abbey, both as ratters and for companionship. One of her cats, in particular, has become a near-constant companion -- a white cat named Lady. The feline can often be found sleeping on Lyterette’s bed or following her around her abbey. Besides being a white shadow, Lady is Lyterette’s guide and has warned her of danger on more than one occasion.

Priestess of Mara - Lyterette is a devout follower of the Divine, Mara. She loves to officiate weddings and enjoys aiding her friends in fostering love in their relationships. She currently serves as a priestess in a chapel associated with the Order of the Amaranthine Ring.
